B.S., M.S., Ph.D. in Pharmacy, Pharmacology
University of Maryland

Dr. Kokoski began working with Friends Research in 1963 on a project to explore the efficacy of urinalysis in aiding drug rehabilitation treatment at then Spring Grove Psychiatric Hospital. He helped pioneer the use of thin layer chromatography as an effecitive tool in drug detection. By the 1970’s, Friends Lab grew beyond it’s original research mandate to provide commercial testing for treatment programs throughout the State of Maryland. As the awareness of drug addiction and its effects grew, new methodologies were adopted to service the growing need for reliable drug detection in both the treatment and pre-employment sectors. Dr. Kokoski’s unfailing requirement that Friends provide only the most accurate results possible is the cornerstone of FML’s reputation.

In the course of his work as director and researcher, he has also appeared in court throughout the Delmarva area offering his expertise in the field of drug abuse testing. Dr. Kokoski may be reached at the lab weekdays.
